MagicDisc On W7 Trouble
On my system it took about 30 seconds before theMagicdisc Installer displayed the finished dialogue box. I installed Magicdisc (most recent build) and Windows struggled to install driver. This would occur after the installation had actuallybegun and while still on the installer screen which displays two progress bars. I have a working OS X (hackintosh) installation on the same hard drive, if that can help.. Source

If Windows 7 develops a problem it can often be fixed by running this utility. As much as I appreciate feedback from folks, and yes perhaps there's a 'better way', frankly, i'm over-and-done-with-it and my blog has filled its purpose (sharing the 'how' in the event UNINST.EXE causes the system to freeze up.
always best to use the uninstaller than blind registry hacking. I had to go through a tedious process to get the driver to be accepted by Windows 7 and 8! Partner with MagicISO, Your original games/program discs can be safely stored away, MagicISO mean that you always have your expensive media stored safely as CD/DVD image file on your hard drive, I tried installed a disc of Windows 7 that was an ISO file I burned. Went into Safe Mode & all folders look to be fine.
DAMN! Thank you! Once we get Service Packs for W7 that will open up another issue but not until then. MagicDisc is a powerful utility that uses a unique combination of options to ensure a perfect back-up every time.
