On my system it took about 30 seconds before theMagicdisc Installer displayed the finished dialogue box. I installed Magicdisc (most recent build) and Windows struggled to install driver. This would occur after the installation had actuallybegun and while still on the installer screen which displays two progress bars. I have a working OS X (hackintosh) installation on the same hard drive, if that can help.. Source

If Windows 7 develops a problem it can often be fixed by running this utility. As much as I appreciate feedback from folks, and yes perhaps there's a 'better way', frankly, i'm over-and-done-with-it and my blog has filled its purpose (sharing the 'how' in the event UNINST.EXE causes the system to freeze up.

I had to go through a tedious process to get the driver to be accepted by Windows 7 and 8!
