I tried updating drivers, both from Asus Website and Realtek, the "do nothing" option from the communications thing, disabling the icon/notifications from Realtek HD Audio Manager and pretty much everything else. Clicking on that should bring up the option to disable front panel jack detection. The only fix I've come across, is to unplug your green speaker cable, then plug ig in again. If it's a software problem check skype settings,check windows audio settings, plug unplug, and troubleshoot the device.
