Bonus Info - What do you do, if after setting up a dual-boot system between Windows and Linux you decide that you no longer what to use Linux? I do not have any Windows 7/8 recovery media, so that isn't an option. Will the startup repair not interfere with 2nd, theoretically running but not accessible installation? Bootsect basically i cant boot into windows, tried reinstallting grub with boot repair to no avail, it gave me this output though: http://paste.ubuntu.com/712414/ also, after reinstalling grub, my pc still boots into i also cant seem to access the files on my windows partition, i cant see the partition when using the ubuntu live cd or the prompt from the windows 7 repair

That's not all: I have 2 new, extra partitions on my SSD (which now holds my OS). i think i need to get the windows partition show up again first, then i can fix it's mbr with the above options. MBR Backup & HDHacker are two freeware that can help you backup and restore the MBR & Boot Sector. Windows 10 Repair Disk Any help is much appreciated though.

Step 2: Click on Troubleshoot. I got confused here - I did have a boot partition that was not my Linux, it was my base partition (/sda0). In such cases you can run the rebuild or repair MBR to fix these issues.
