The WinPE would get laptop booted, but how would I be able to use ATI to do cloning? So, screwed? Make sure that MSI fast boot is disabled. I COULD try copying the Ubuntu bootloader over onto a DVD to further confirm, I suppose. If I reset the BIOS to system defaults, maybe this option gets disabled and, if the resetting doesn't solve the problem, things would be worse. Have you tried a different model/ manufactureskeyboard? However, I was at office, so, decided to come home and do the cloning there as I didn't know how long cloning process would take. Btw, I'm in IDE and BIOS recognizes the drive. That driver is only for XP and Vista.
