This auto-update feature (??) is the height of arrogance, and certainly not in the user's best interest. So, do you have UAC enabled?Otherwise, I've uninstalled this KB3004394 and after reboot called Windows Update which did not reinstall it, confirming above posts. I think I should wait at least 1 week before installing updates...
