Will this work or should i just leave my Matrox card in an older computer running XP. I've never had a problem with performing a clean install. Sounds like I'm just fine with 32 bit. I work for a client that only supports 32-bit OS Windows and my main computer is 64-bit. It should be drive C:\3. Is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

Is possible to have 32bit on the XP drive and 62bit on the Win 7? I'm running a 320 gb drive on a sammy n120 netbook dual booting xp pro and 7 ultimate. Many thanks in advance... I tried to run the upgrade without the prior old OS and it didn't activate. With Windows 7 you can only do this if the previous system was Vista and only if it's a 32-bit to 32-bit upgrade or a 64-bit to 64-bit upgrade. Said I didn't have the right software.

pclinmike Hero Member Posts: 870 I Only 'Clean' Windows !. Is there a way to remove the xp drive and go to a "normal" single boot drive that being the win 7 drive? All other combinations require you that you migrate your accounts and reinstall your software after installing Windows 7. I've tried this by disabling both the fast startup and UEFI secure boot in the Windows 8.1 setup.
