I had to fix some major performance issues with it. I have been running Windows 7 64-bit for nearly 2 years now and I have run into only a single issue related to the operating system being 64-bit. I couldn't notice this in ANY advertisment! The bit designation refers to the width of the register, thus a 64-bit register can hold more data than a 32-bit register which in turn holds more than 16-bit and 8-bit
